I have worked as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach for over 20 years. Before becoming a coach, I competed professionally in track and field, raced at the U.S. Olympic Trials, represented the United States internationally, and finished third at the 2006 U.S. Indoor National Championships.

Today, I work with clients with a wide range of goals, from getting stronger and losing weight to staying active, feeling better and preparing for athletic or outdoor challenges.

About Sean

From athlete to coach

My years as a competitive athlete still influence the way I coach. I learned the importance of hard work, consistency, gradual progression, recovery, and being willing to adjust when something isn’t working. I use those same principles with clients, whether they’re training for a specific event or simply trying to become stronger, healthier and more active.

Outside the gym

I spend a lot of my free time climbing and doing other outdoor activities. Having goals outside the gym has always been a big part of how I train, and I enjoy helping clients get stronger and fitter for the things they want to do in their own lives.
